From primary medical care and full-service dentistry to medication assistance and specialty referrals, we're here to provide compassionate, coordinated care—all in one place.
Through Project Access, eligible Friends in Need Health Center patients can be referred to volunteer specialists for medical care that is not available within our clinic. This program connects uninsured patients with specialty physicians and diagnostic services at little or no cost through a network of community healthcare partners.
Here's what to expect when you come in — from picking up an application to leaving with your care scheduled.
Come by our office during business hours to pick up a paper application or start one online. Bring proof of income (if available), proof of address, a valid photo ID, and your household size.
Our staff will review your application and help verify your eligibility. This is also a good time to ask any questions about our services or fees.
Once approved, we'll schedule your first appointment. Medical and dental visits are billed at our fixed fee, regardless of insurance status. Plan for some additional time at your first visit for paperwork and intake before you see a provider.
We'll send appointment reminders by call or text, so you don't miss your visit — dental patients receive a reminder in advance and again on the day of the visit; medical patients receive a text reminder.
