Friends in Need Health Center is a nonprofit charitable clinic that provides compassionate medical and dental care to uninsured and underinsured individuals with low-to-moderate income in Greater Kingsport and the surrounding counties of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
A 501(c)(3) charity established in 1993 and opened in 1995, we do not bill insurance companies. Each patient pays an amount based on the percentage given on our sliding scale, so care stays within reach.

Yes, we do make dentures and partials. Discuss with your provider if you are eligible for dental prosthetics.
Dental patients, yes. We call and text all patients with an accurate phone number with multiple reminders in advance of their appointment, including the day of. Medical patients will receive a text reminder regarding their medical appointment.
Our clinical hours are Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We are closed daily for lunch from 12 PM to 1 PM.
